12-06-2004 - Mount Baker in full operations - Mount Baker got a nice dumping of snow this weekend and they have commenced full operations.
11-14-2004 - Site opens for business - Phatair.org is now open for business. Please take the time to explore the site and send me feedback. If you have people that are interested in joining our group, please direct them to this site for signup.
10-31-2004 - Email migration completed. All of our existing members were migrated from Yahoogroups.com to Phatair.org. What does this mean? It means that our email alias is no longer subject to random deletions by yahoo.com. Also since this domain is privately owned your email name can't be harvested for marketing purposes. Finally, advertisements won't be appended to our emails when they are sent out.

Welcome to Phatair! Phatair is a group of Seattle based snowboarders and skiers. We get together one to two times a week to hit the various local hills. In the past we relied on yahoogroups but I've decided to give the ski club a permanent web presence.
What does Phatair.org provide? Scheduling, Ski report summaries, forums, FAQs, and of course the famous Phatair distribution group. All this is provided w/o any annoying advertisements from listbot or yahoo. All previous members have been automatically converted over to the new site. so you don't have to do anything!
So what's up now? Currently the ski season hasn't begun, but now is a great time to start updating your equipment for the coming season. There are some really great deals in all of the local stores.
